Anna M. Anderson , Age 70

February 21, 1951 --September 05, 2021

Anna M. Anderson was born on February 21, 1951 to Walton and Maria (Lapuzza) Frenzel in Monroe, WI. She grew up in Monroe with her two older brothers, Paul and Anthony. Her mother moved to Wisconsin from Italy when her older brother Paul, was a baby. She graduated from Monroe Senior High School in 1969. After her daughter Tina was born she moved to Baraboo. When Tina was a baby, they lived out in the country off County A and Anna loved to tell stories of how she would ride her bike or walk with Tina into town to go to the library.

While living in Birmingham, Alabama, Anna joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1977; which became her guiding strength and the beginning of many lifelong friendships. She was also blessed while living in Birmingham when her son, Robert was born in 1979. After Anna and her family moved back to Wisconsin, she worked for the original owners of the local Dairy Queen and for Norm and Heather Rollingson, who owned Wax World of Stars and Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum in Wisconsin Dells. She loved to dress up and pretend to be a wax figure and interact with the all of the guests. Always a fan of Science Fiction and a lifelong Trekkie, her favorite costume was that of a Star Fleet Officer from Star Trek The Next Generation complete with a tricorder. She also enjoyed making visits on Halloween dressed as Gandalf from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

With the desire to further her education, Anna went back to school and graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Computer Science in 1996. With tenacity and dedication, she would drive from Baraboo to Stevens Point and attend classes even during Wisconsin's worst winter snow storms. She moved to Utah soon after graduation and worked in the technology and IT industry until she retired in 2016; when she moved back to Wisconsin. Anna worked at Wal-Mart part-time until fully retiring in 2018.

Anna loved to crochet and knit, which she learned from her mother. She would make beautiful blankets, hats and booties for new babies. She designed and made crochet Nativities, wrote children's stories complete with crocheted finger puppets to go along with them. Anna freely shared her gifts and talents with many which brought so much joy and happiness to others throughout her life.

Anna's was known for her hugs and warm heart. Every Sunday that Anna was able to attend church was a blessing because she gave freely of her love and hugs to everyone who wanted them! Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Anna will attest to her quiet strength and devotion. She blessed and touched so many lives without saying a word.

Anna loved animals, especially cats. She always had at least two and sometimes more. This love was passed onto her son, Robert. Before returning to Wisconsin, Anna adopted two of her sons rescue kittens and brought them with her. Jeffrey and JC were her beloved companions that were with her during the last 5 years of her journey on this side of the veil, which brought her so much comfort and peace.

Anna was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and underwent chemo and her cancer went into remission. The cancer returned earlier this year and after fighting it for a second time, Anna was called home into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Anna had a strong testimony of her Savior and recognized His voice when He called. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walton and Maria (Lapuzza) Frenzel. She is survived by her children Tina Kirchberg of Baraboo, WI and Robert Anderson of Provo, UT; brothers, Paul (Susan) Frenzel of Madison, WI; Anthony (Lori) Frenzel of Baraboo, WI; grandchildren Kaitlyn and Kody Kirchberg, along with beloved nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Anna was a great friend and sister of the heart to those whom she was closest to. Heaven is blessed with her presence and we now have an angel to watch over us.
