Helen C. Moyer

Helen C. Moyer, age 100, of Baraboo, passed away on March 1, 2024 at St. Clare Hospital. 

Helen was born on October 21,1923 to William Jasper and Mattie (Clark) Crampton in Lynchburg, Ohio. She married Maurice Moyer in July of 1945; they moved to Baraboo in 1964. They were active members of the First United Methodist Church in Baraboo and participated in multiple church groups.

Helen and Maurice had one daughter, Dianne Burns (Moyer), and two grandchildren, Jayson Moyer and Jesse Burns. She worked for many years in the finance department for Dr. Hansel of Baraboo. 

Helen served as the pillar of her family, generously sharing her wisdom, grace, and entertaining anecdotes. She found joy in visits from friends, observing the birds from her front window, and indulging in her love for reading. Helen's enduring legacy is one of grace and class, leaving an indelible impression on everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

The family would like to thank the staff of SSM Health, SSM Health at Home and BrightStar Care that helped make the last chapter of her life easy and manageable.
