Kenneth H. `Ken` Conway Jr.

Kenneth H. “Ken” Conway Jr., age 93, of Baraboo, passed away on April 4, 2024 at Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg.

Kenneth was born the only child of Kenneth and Portia (Garrison) Conway on January 8, 1931 in Baraboo. Ken graduated from Baraboo High School, Class of 1948. He continued his schooling  at UW-LaCrosse, where he met then married Melvina Norderhaug in 1952. He served his country in the US Air Force from January 5, 1953 until March 14, 1954, having been stationed in Alaska as a pilot. Upon his return, he attended UW-Madison where he obtained his law degree. He began working at the family law firm Conway and Conway and continued working as a divorce attorney for 54 years. Following the death of his wife, in 1988, he spent the next 33 years with Lorelei Wexler. In his youth, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling. 

He is survived by his sons, William (Kristin) Conway, Eric (Jane) Conway; his daughter-in-law, Lise Conway; grandchildren, Lorelei, Will, Julia, Sam, Samatha (James); other relatives and dear friends. 

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; his late wife, Melvina; his companion, Lorelei Wexler, and his son, John. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1:00pm at Walnut Hill Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Baraboo Veterans Honor Guard.
