Since I was 16, you’ve been known as Ma and Dad…. You both were such an influence in many young people’s lives… taking kids under your wings…. still have the Bible you gave me 35 years ago. Love you both. Praying for comfort for your family, till we see you again.

Dear Aunt Dodie, Tracy, Chucky, Shannon, and Auntie Dawn: My heart goes out to you and I am sending you lots of love! Uncle Chuck was not only family but also a guiding light in my life. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support shaped me in ways words can hardly express. He was a constant source of strength, encouragement, and love as I was growing up—a true mentor whose presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled in us, the memories we shared, and the countless lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in my heart. May his soul rest in peace.

Dodi and family, so sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. I have thought of him often over the years and am sorry we didn’t get together again. As young kids Chuck was one of the most pleasant people. He was always in a good mood. I never saw him get worked up about anything. I think we were about five or six when Skip ,he and I started to pal around on Harding avenue. Chuck Skip and I went through parochial school, Cub Scouts , Boy Scouts and even explorers together. After that the three of us went to different high schools , but still remained friends. We spent a lot of time at the Berry’ s house. To this day they were one of the nicest families I’ve ever come across. I also remember very well when the two of you married and admired how well the two of you embraced marriage and parenthood. I will miss knowing his smile and good nature are still out there. God bless his memory. John ONeill

My best memory is the great family gatherings we had at Chuck's house in Midlothian. We had some wonderful times in that old house. Chuck was a kind, quality individual that always made you feel welcome. His presence will be missed. My condolences to the family.
