Colleen Renee Harding

Colleen Renee Harding, age 67, of Phillips, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Colleen, daughter of Russell and Rita (Hawkins) Bristol, was born on October 31, 1957. Colleen married the love of her life, Paul Harding, on October 30, 1976. They shared 45 wonderful years together until his passing on January 17, 2022. She missed him deeply every day.

Colleen and Paul were proud owners of Rose’s Bay Resort on Potato Lake in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin, a cherished chapter in their lives that spanned 17 years. Colleen had a deep love for travel, especially enjoying the adventure and serenity of cruise ships. Among all the places she held dear, Soo Lake remained especially close to her heart. She was also an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially football.

She is survived by her children, Jason Harding, Stacy (Mark) Pomeroy and Travis (Heather) Harding; 6 grandchildren, Olivia, Jaycee, Paula, Miles, Makayla, and Patrick; brothers, Tom Terry, Jerry; sister, Tina; beloved father-in-law, Millard Harding, Jr.; stepsisters, Kathy and Karen; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; special friends, Bob and Annette, Kevin and Bobbie, as well as Wendy.

Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; parents, Russell and Rita; sister, Helen; brother, Bud; niece, Heather; nephew, Danny; great-niece, Danielle; stepfather, Doug; stepbrothers, Dougy and Micky. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Luke Powers presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

There will be an additional Celebration of Life for Colleen in Phillips, WI, which will be announced at a later date.
