Frances Katherine Bartholomew Wilson , Age 95

April 20, 1930 --December 19, 2025

Frances Katherine Bartholomew Wilson entered eternal rest on Friday, December 19, 2025, joining beloved family and friends in heaven.

Born on Easter Sunday, April 20, 1930, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Baraboo, Fran was the youngest of seven children of Fred and Ellen (Sax) Bartholomew. She grew up surrounded by her siblings—Fred, Ellen “Sis,” Lloyd, Clyde, Bernice, and Richard—and cherished the bonds of family throughout her life.

Fran attended Baraboo schools and graduated from Baraboo High in 1948. She delighted in singing in the choir with friends and later cherished the chance to reconnect at class reunions.

On September 17, 1949, Fran married William Wilson and together raised two daughters, Patricia “Patty” and Pamela “Pam.” She loved spending her time at church, in the garden, at the bowling alley, and in the kitchen baking and cooking for everyone. Fran worked for many years in the dietary department at St. Clare Hospital, where her kindness and dedication touched many lives.

Fran’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughters, Patty Burger and Pam Cummings; her cherished grandchildren, Patrick (Kim) Cummings, Katie Cummings, and Megan (Travis) Pierce; and her adored great-grandchildren, Aiden and Byron Cummings and Harper and Finley Pierce. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Brice, dear friends Margaret Jantz and Nancy Cone, and a wide circle of treasured relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kay Hallanger presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
