Catherine Anita `Caetie` Gall , Age 44

February 06, 1981 --January 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Catherine Anita Gall passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final days and gifted life to others in her passing.

Caetie grew up in Baraboo and Waukesha, Wisconsin.  She attended high school at Waukesha South before she returned to graduate from Baraboo High School in 1999.

Looking for adventure had always been Caetie’s dream. As a natural doting and loving big sister, pursuing a nanny career allowed her to move to the East coast.  Nannying in New Jersey and NYC afforded Caetie an endless list of interesting stories to tell.  Caetie loved the children she nannied for as her own and they adored her as well.

Caetie was also passionate about photography and was most comfortable behind the lens of a camera.  An amazing artist, she had an eye to capture the best angles and natural beauty of people around her. When she set out to explore the West coast, she enrolled at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and pursued a career in photography.  She loved to travel, camera always ready, touching the hearts of many along the way.

Caetie lived her 44 years with wild vibrance and confidence, unfazed by what others thought. Energetic and magnetic, her beautiful smile lit up the room. Caetie was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and close friend to many, but the title she was most proud of was “Auntie Caet”.

She will be dearly missed by her parents: Tom (Betty) Gall and Carol Bartol-Byers; her siblings: Christie (Jon) Bortz, Tommy (Misty) Gall, Ethan (Olga) Bartol-Byers, Cierra (Eric) Anderson, Scott Byers, and Tara (Ross) Ellison; and her 11 nephews and nieces: Oliver, Rowan, Liam, Beckham, Jax, Aja, Clarence, Stella, Juliet, Evie and Bethany.  She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Caetie entered eternal rest with the ones who passed before her: paternal grandparents, Ernest and Adeline Gall, maternal grandparents, Matthew and Anita Bartol, Aunt Liz Hyser, Aunt Linda Carlock and stepfather, Doug Byers.

A gathering in remembrance of her life will be planned for a future date. Memorials in Caetie's name can be made to a charity of choice.
