Frank E. Phippen , Age 74


April 24, 1951 --February 21, 2026

Frank E. Phippen, age 74, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital in Madison.

Frank was born on April 24, 1951, to Emmit and Margaret (Kosin) Phippen in Reedsburg. He graduated from Webb High School, Class of 1971. For many years, Frank was employed at Ho-Chunk Casino, where he worked as a custodian until his retirement. He took great pride in his work and the friendships he built there over the years.

Frank was an avid fisherman who found peace and happiness on the water. He cherished the time spent with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter.

He is survived by his son, Quinn; the mother of his son, Deb; many nieces, nephews, other relatives; and good friends who will miss him dearly.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Emmit and Margaret Phippen; and siblings, Violet, Phillip, Harry, Henry, Cora, June and Marvin.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Immediately following the service, burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Sauk County Humane Society.
