Scott Donald Sievert, age 66, of Baraboo, was taken from this earth suddenly on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
He was born in Waukesha, on December 5, 1959, to LaVerne “Toby” and Wilma Sievert. Scott was an active outdoorsmen and rock music fan who greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, as well as playing and restoring electric guitars. He spent many years of his life as a key member of several tavern league softball teams, and was also a dedicated “cat dad”, who loved his pets dearly. He will be remembered by those whose lives he touched and missed by those who knew him fondly.
May he find the peace that he sought on Earth.
Scott was the eldest of five sons; survived by his brothers, Randy, Marty and Andy; daughters, Michelle (Brad) Young and Holly Sievert; two grandchildren, Alyssa Sievert and Ethan Betancourt; other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Joseph.
A private graveside service will be held by his remaining family at a future date, so that he may rest alongside those loved ones who preceded him.
“Anywhere I roam,
Where I lay my head is home,
Carved upon my stone,
My body lies, but still I roam, yeah-yeah.”
