CONNIE LOUISE PERKINS, BARABOOConnie Louise Perkins, age 51 of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at St. Clare Hospital.Connie, the daughter of LaVern and Alice (Wirth) Gieck, was born on May 13, 1961 in Sauk City, Wisconsin.She enjoyed collecting rings, puzzles, bugs and going for walks.She is survived by her children, Lucas (Brandi) Perkins of Eastmon, Lynn Perkins (Jermaine), Rachel Perkins, and Jessie (Brad) Weirich, all of Baraboo, and Terri Benson of Pardeeville; 11 grandchildren; her parents, LaVern and Alice Gieck; siblings, Ronald (Theresa) Gieck, Cindy Summers, Chris Elliott, Carol Gieck, and Donald (Carol) Gieck; her companion, John Orth; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.Connie was preceded in death by her former husband, Harold Perkins.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo with Pastor David Hutchens officiating. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
