Fayetta "Faye" Lynn (Paschen) Ott


Fayetta "Faye" Lynn (Paschen) Ott passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI after a courageous battle with lymes disease. Faye was born in Baraboo on October 16, 1958 to Kenneth and Ruth (Francisco) Paschen.Faye attended Baraboo schools and graduated in 1977. Faye grew up on the family farm in the township of Fairfield. She and her dad were caretakers of the Fairfield Cemetery. Faye planned and organized the Fairfield yard sales for many years. Faye enjoyed the outdoors. Her love and knowledge of flowers and plants assisted many students in gathering biology points from the farm and Leech Creek. Faye had million dollar fingers as was seen in the many crocheting, knitting, quilting and sewing projects she created.Faye was an avid gardener and enjoyed selling her produce at the Baraboo Farmer's Market. This is where she met her true love, Gerald Ott. Faye and Jerry were united in marriage, at their farm, on October 18, 2003. Together they enjoyed the farmer's market selling their Pleasant Valley produce .Faye is survived by her husband, Jerry; sister, Arlene Ramsey; niece, Beth Ramsey, and nephew, Verne Ramsey, Jr..She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ruth Paschen; and brother-in-law Verne Ramsey, Sr.A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 5, 2013, at the Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo with Pastor David Hutchens officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave. in Baraboo; and on Saturday, from 1 p.m. until the time of services, at the church. Burial will follow at the Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield Township.
