James "Jim" Berry

James "Jim" Berry, age 70, of West Baraboo passed away on Wed., Jan. 16, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Jim was born on Nov. 13, 1942 to Charles and Anne (Barkus) Berry. He married Milly Severson on April 19, 1969 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sauk City.Jim was employed for 30 years as a dispatcher for Alliant Energy. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving in the Vietnam War. Jim was a long time member of the Elk's club. He enjoyed working on his old truck, but his biggest love was golf.Jim is survived by his wife, Milly; son, Jason (Cary) Berry; grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Berry; brothers, Chuck and John (Barb) Berry; and many other relatives; and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; and sisters, Letitia and Margie.A Memorial Service will be held on Sat., Jan. 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave., with Rev. Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, at the funeral home. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family
