Beverly Braun

Beverly 'Bev' J. Braun, age 75, of Baraboo passed away on Sunday. May 26, 2013 at the St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. She was born on June 4, 1937 to Alfred and Leona (Hill) Bethke in Sauk City.Bev worked for Isenberg's Hardware Store for 30 plus years, until she retired. She was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. Bev was an avid square dancer, she loved to travel and help people. She was a leader for 4-H, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.Bev is survived by her two sons, Alan (Cathy) Braun of Onalaska and Steve (Tammy) Braun of Loganville; grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Jedediah (Andrea), Abraham, Danielle, and Hannah Braun. She is further survived by two sisters, Janeen (William) Grimm of Portage and Rose (Tony) Vrtis of Ixonia; one brother, Truman (Pam) Felland, Jr. of North Freedom; and a sister-in-law, Kay Felland of Elkhorn; as well as many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and dear friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Becky; grandson, Elijah Gene Braun; brother, James Felland, Sr.; and sister, Dinah Armstrong.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service, at the church. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the 4-H club.
