Joanne Schellenberger

Joanne Schellenberger, 67, passed away on July 28, 2013, with her family by her side.Joanne was born in Milwaukee to Henry and Irene Thiede. Joanne was united in marriage to Gene R. Schellenberger on June 18, 1966. They were blessed with two children, Michael (Andrea) Schellenberger and their daughter Emily of Reedsburg, and Tracy (Todd) Buelow and their daughter Jordan of Baraboo. Joanne is also survived by her step mother, Patricia Thiede, and her two brothers, Hank (Carey) Thiede of East Troy and James (Jean) Thiede of Muskego and many other dear relatives.Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Irene.Joanne impacted many people through her work in the healthcare field for 30+ years. Joanne was an avid golfer and she enjoyed spending her weekends at their camper with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables from their garden, baking and cooking meals for her family on holidays. She loved spending time with her two granddaughters.Joanne's family would like to thank the Dean Specialty Clinic Staff and Home Health United Hospice caregivers for all their assistance during her long and courageous battle with cancer.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Freedom with Pastor Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.Our Family Chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the Chain will link again.
