Philip J. Collins

Philip James Collins, age 74, of Baraboo died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. Phil was born on December 25, 1938 to Albert and Elizabeth (Faulk) Collins in Baraboo.Phil proudly served in the U.S. Army for over two years, he was honorably discharged in Nov. of 1957. For many years, Phil worked for his brother at the Clark Station in Baraboo. While living in Texas he worked as a janitor.Phil is survived by his siblings, Orville (Margaret) Collins, Arlene Boyd, Duane (Donna) Collins and Dean and Gary Collins; sister-in-law, Irma Collins as well as many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald; and half-brothers, Richard, Audrey, and Lawrence.A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo with Pastor Bill Haskins and Pastor Derick Bacon co-officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Baraboo Veterans Honor Guard. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
