Millicent M. Dendor


Millicent M. (Ackerman) Dendor, age 86 of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.Millicent, the daughter of the late Frank and Regina (Tiesling) Ackerman, was born on February 15, 1927 in Prairie du Chien. On April 27, 1946, Millicent was united in marriage to Leonard Dendor in Milwaukee.She was a true nature lover, including flowers, trees, butterflies and animals. She also loved to read and tell jokes. Millicent enjoyed the company of others and liked to help people be who they were meant to be.She is survived by her children, Charlene (Kenneth) Kujawa, Gregory Dendor, Michelle (Gary) Goebel, Jane (Ronald) Meyer, and Rebecca (Michael) Plautz; seven grandchildren, Joshua Goebel, Steven and William Kujawa, Nathan, Molly Jane, Aaron, and Samuel Plautz; her brother, Paul (Susan) Ackerman; nieces, Sherry, Katie, and Amy; cousins, Mary Ellen (Paul) Siehr and James (Diane) Tiesling; many other relatives and very dear friends.In addition to her parents, Millicent was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 1989 and her brother, Howard.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at One Life Assembly of God in Baraboo with Pastor Jon Arneson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at the church. Private burial will take place in Oak Creek at a later date. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Randy Krszjzaniek, Chaplain Karen Schilling, Pastor Jon and Theresa Arneson, and the nursing staff and care givers at St. Clare Meadows Care Center.
