Dorothy W. Eschenbach
Dorothy W. Eschenbach passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. She was born in the township of Excelsior on Sept. 25, 1916. She was married to Lowell Eschenbach Nov. 30, 1939 at St. Paul's Lutheran church in North Freedom. She taught school in the surrounding area for 43 years, the last 24 years were at the South School in Baraboo. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sauk County Retired Teachers Association and the Retired Teachers Association of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell; her parents, Geo and Minnie Ahrensmeyer; three brothers, Howard (Lucille), Lyle (Selma), and Ervin Ahrensmeyer; Survivors include nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Pastor Thomas Fricke of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate the service. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
