Michael J. Wise, Skokie, ILMichael J. Wise, 39, son of Terry and Deanna Wise passed away suddenly at his home in Skokie, Ill on Friday, October 11, 2013. He had bravely battled multiple sclerosis since he was diagnosed at 28 years old.Michael was born on December 9, 1973 in Baraboo. He graduated from Baraboo High School and currently worked as a senior technical analyst at North Western Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill. He also owned his own photography studio in Evanston, Ill. He had a love of photography since he was very young and shared that love with friends and family whenever possible. Once, yearly, he would even travel to Redmond, Wa to take photos for the Got To Dance Studio because they appreciated Michael's style of photography. He shared his home with the two loves in his life Diana Dittmer and his very photogenic cat, Bella.Michael had no children of his own, but was 'Uncle Mike' to three nieces, Samantha, Emily, and Lela Wise; two nephews, Daniel and Chance Wise, and two great nephews, Drake and Dominic Heug. And, although not related he was the good 'Uncle Mike' to Chloe and Haley Scott, the children of his best friends Dan and Ruth Scott.Mike is survived by his mother, Deanna Wise; two brothers, Tom (Angie) Wise of Hammond and Josh (Trisha) Wise of Baraboo; as well as many, many friends and followers of his photography. He was preceded in death by his dad, Terry Wise; and his niece, Kaitlyn Wise.Michael will be missed much more than we can express in words. His magnetic smile could light up a room and his gently nature completed the package. He was our photographer, our go to guy if we needed to talk, our internet guy, and a man we were very proud to call brother, friend and most of all son. He and his dad always wanted to plan a trip to Ireland, perhaps that is where the two of them are today.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave. Baraboo with Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating.
