George H. Heath, Jr., BarabooGeorge "Geo" H. Heath, Jr., age 83 of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at his home. He was born on March 09, 1930. Geo was united in marriage to Dorothy VonBehren on March 11, 1950. He was employed by Badger Army Ammunition Plant for 42 years as a mechanic. Geo was a member of Yellow Thunder Sam's Camping Club. He also worked for the Baraboo Township for many years. He was the President of the North Freedom Rod & Gun Club and taught hunters safety for 25 years. Geo enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and visiting Colorado. He was always willing to help anyone. Geo loved his family and enjoyed taking care of his cats.Geo is survived by his children, Thomas (Josephine) Heath of North Freedom; Patti (Keith) Rumisek of Lodi; Deborah (Christopher) Kohel of Clintonville; George III (Kathy) Heath of Baraboo; Michael (Sheila) Heath of North Freedom; Jackie (Daouda) Kamakate of Everyville, California, 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and his sisters Betty Hutter and Shirley Soelle.A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 from 4pm until 7pm. at the Redlin Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.
