Geraldine "Geri" Anna Larson


Geraldine "Geri" Anna (Lange) Larson born to Eternal Life on March 16, 2014 at the age of 99. Dearly beloved mother of Harvey Gerald (Mary) Larson of Wisconsin Dells, Thoralee Ann Neau of Brookfield, WI, and the late Eugene John Larson (Lt. Col. US Army). Treasured grandmother of Lt. Col. David (Milena), Mark (Lori), and Scott (Renee Breed) Larson, Kristin (Gerry) Larson-Rich, Lori (Larry) Terry, Stephanie (Gregg) Wieczorek, Michael (Dr. Yvonne), and Victoria (fiance Robert Mull) Neau. Proud and adored great-grandmother of 16. Fond sister-in-law of Edna Lange of Superior. Further remembered and missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. Larson, son Lt. Col. Eugene John Larson, brother Dr. John D. Lange, parents Emma (Pfaff) & August Michael Lange, & special "sister", Edna Stoeckmann.Geri was born October 6, 1914 in the Town of Excelsior and raised in Ableman, WI (now Rock Springs). She was married to Harvey R. Larson on November 24, 1934, and they lived the rest of their lives in Baraboo. She was an active member of the Baraboo community for the rest of her life. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped Geri in the twilight of her life through their loving care & friendship. Special thanks to Drs. Krszjzaniek & Meier & the staff of St. Clare's Hospital & Medical Associates of Baraboo; the staff of "Meals on Wheels"; the Commission on Aging; the fantastic staff of St. Clare Meadows Care Center; all staff & members of the First Presbyterian Church; Pastor Lisa Taylor; Din "Gus" Dovolos, & a multitude of other countless angels here on earth, all too numerous to mention.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 3 p.m. at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in the Activities Room. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the Meadows. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. A larger memorial service will be held in June. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Baraboo or St. Clare Meadows Care Center.Rest in peace, our dear angel on earth, your incredibly-long journey is over, and we know that you are in a better place, reunited once again with your many loved ones who have gone before you.
