Larry D. Kissack


Larry D. Kissack died at his home unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Larry was born June 29, 1946 to Clarence and Dollie (Smith) Kissack in Baraboo. He grew up in lake Delton and graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1964. Larry was a veteran having served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He owned Kissack's Standard Gas Station in Lake Delton for many years and prior to that held several service positions. For the past 25 years, he was employed by Sysco Food Services, in Baraboo. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. As a gardener he enjoyed the outdoors; his pastimes were boating as well as tinkering with his old cars. he will be dearly missed by his dogs Dayne, Mollie, Alligirl, and cats Oscar and Lexie.He is survived by his three sons, Steven, Corey, and Trevor Kissack; fiance, Judy Hackett; two brothers, Claron "Bud" (Joan) and Charles "Jim" (Arlene) Kissack; and a sister-in-law, Avie Kissack. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Kissack; sister, Alberta Petranek; nephew, Bruce Kissack; and great nephew, Richard Weinke. Larry was a very private man and had a passion for life and enjoyed a good laugh and good conversation. His many friends and Family will miss his quick wit and companionship. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
