Virginia "Jean" Dallmann, age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 with her family at her bedside. Jean was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed singing with the Wisconsin State Homemaker's Chorus and for her personal pleasure. She passed this on to all of her children. She casually played the piano, organ and guitar. As a teen she sang on WIBU radio. Jean was an active member of Diamond Hill Homemakers.Throughout her years of raising children she worked side by side her husband Harold on the family farm. She also participated in and led several clubs and organizations for the advancement of farm products.Virginia is survived by her husband of 73 years, Harold, her sister Marilyn Lemens (Lee), her sons David (Carolyn), Gary (Cherrie) and daughter Cheri (Leon) Eschenbach, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis and her grand-daughter Kassi Jean.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo at 11 am. Visitation will be held at Redlin Funeral Home on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5 pm- 7 pm, and an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
