Donna F. Green

Donna Faye (Hewitt) Green, age 77, of Baraboo died on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at the St. Clare Hospice House. Donna was born on March 6, 1937 in Baraboo to Ray and Emma (Krintz) Hewitt. On Sept. 19, 1953 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo, she married Charles E. Green; they were married for 61 years.They were blessed with four daughters, Fay (William) Vertein, Susan Green, Sandra (Ken) Pierce, and Marsha Luther. Donna is also survived by six grandchildren, Holly (Randy) Brandt, William (Paige Kohler) Vertein, James (Veronica) Pierce, Travis (Megan Cummings) Pierce, Jacob and Kelly Luther; great-grandchild, Reid Brandt.Donna was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, June Pierce; brother, Floyd "Buck" Hewitt; sisters, Helen Kamensky, Audrey Kinney, and Norma Good; and son-in-law, Stephen Luther.The family would like to thank Donna's doctors and nurses, along with her friends of Division D of St. John's Lutheran Church, her swimming friends, and her card playing gals, and many other dear family and friends for all their kindness and prayers.Donna requested no formal services, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or school. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
