Frank Semor


Frank Semor, age 88, of Baraboo passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his home. Frank was born the son of Stephen and Catherine (Rodobicki) Semor on November 5, 1926 in Madison. He was raised on his family farm in Fairfield; where he also attended school. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Young on April 12, 1952. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. After his time in the military he went on to work at Oscar Meyer and the Badger Olin Powder Plant where he work in the Motor Pool Department. He had been a member of the Labor Union Local 464 for 50 years, until his retirement. Frank is survived by his daughter, Judy (Donald) Gabelt of Reedsburg; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Ebert of Reedsburg and Amber Gabelt; as well as two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Ebert of Reedsburg; and a nephew, Ralph Plummer of Holly, CO. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; parents; siblings, Mary, Steve, Catherine, Francis, Ann, and Michael; as well as his foster parents Rose and Ralph Plummer, and foster siblings, Al and Maude Plummer. A Private Graveside Service will be held with military rites. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
