Timothy R. Cady of Madison


Timothy R. Cady, 60 of Madison formerly of Everett, WA passed away from a long, courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Tim never lost his passion for life during his illness. Tim was born on Dec. 20, 1954 to Kenneth and Berniece (Luke) Cady in Reedsburg. After graduating from Reedsburg High School, Tim joined the Armed Forces where he proudly served in the Army for 11 years. During his military service he was stationed abroad in Germany. After his service with the military he went on to pursue a career in aviation; not only as an airline mechanic but a pilot as well. Besides aviation, he had two main passions; guns and sports cars, his favorite being the Ford Mustang. Tim was a very motivated person, who never let anything stand in the way of his accomplishments. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. Tim is survived by his four sons, Bruce (Melissa) Cady of Portage, Andrew (fiance Tamara Willey) Cady of Waunakee, Christopher (Amanda) Cady of Portage, Chad Cady of Baraboo; grandchildren, Tyler, Nevaeh, Dante, Nicoli, and Addison; sisters, Barb Swalheim and Pam Cady; brothers, Rick Cady and Ken "John" Cady. He is further survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Judy Cady.Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating. Visitation will take place from 12pm Noon until the time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at the Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
