Patrick "Pat" C. Brophy
Patrick "Pat" Brophy, age 82, of Baraboo passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center. Pat was born on March 6, 1932 to Frank and Lulu (Bell) Brophy in Saukville. He was united in marriage to Joan Sauer on June 16, 1956 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Pat was a graduate of UW Whitewater; and received his Masters Degree from Oshkosh. He was a teacher and guidance counselor at Baraboo Senior High School. He was a member of the Elk's Club and the Wisconsin Retired Educators Association. Pat is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Carmel (Steve) Willett, Timothy (Michele) Brophy, and Christal (Tom) Fuller; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is further survived by a brother-in-law, Bob Sauer; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Garrett Kau officiating. Visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow services at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
