Angeline "Angie Fauska


Angeline "Angie" Fauska, 86, was granted her angel wings on Feb 16, 2015 with her family by her side. Angie was born in Madison the sixth of eight children, born to Warren and Margaret (Riley) Manson. She attended St. James grade school. She married La Moine "Chuck" Fauska and moved to Baraboo. She and Chuck had five sons and one daughter. Angie was a stay at home mom while the kids grew up. Later she worked several part time jobs - the latest and the one she enjoyed the most was at St. Joseph School cafeteria. She loved the interaction with the children and was affectionately known as "the cookie lady". Angie was a long time member and volunteer at the St. Joseph Parish. Angie loved her family, bingo, La Stella Tours, the color yellow, Pope Francis, and most of all a love of angels. Angie is survived by her sons, Steve (partner Robert Gil), Dan (Ruth), Jim, John, Bob (Kendy); daughter, Kathy; grandchildren, Anthony, Kent, Sarah, Zach, Jake, Josh, and Abby. She is further survived by a brother, Robert Manson; two sisters, Dorothy Omdahl and Rosie Lecheler; along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; sisters, Lucille Hovde, Alice Slotten, Florence Buege; and a brother, William Manson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Sat., Feb 21, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held on Fri., Feb 20, 2015 from 4-7pm at the Redlin Funeral Home; continued visitation will take place on Sat. from 11am until the time of service at the church. The Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 4pm at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the St. Joseph School.
