Katie Elena (Schwarz) Overland, age 48, of North Freedom passed away on Monday, Feb 16, 2015. She was born on May 10, 1966 to Herman and Karen (Harman) Schwarz in Madison. Katie is survived by her step-father, Mark Dalton; life partner, Rex Alvin Drew; children, Rachel (David D. Uselman) Fundak, Ryan (Kimberly) Overland, Ross Aaron Drew, and Rhett Adam Drew; grandchildren, Karen Maye, D. Stephen, Sara Ann Louise Evert, and Daniel Alan Evert; siblings, William (Etta) Schwarz and Susan G. Schwarz. She is further survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, and family pet, Edgar. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
