Karen D. Terlep, age 59, of Baraboo passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, following a brief illness. Karen was born on February 2, 1956 to John and Mary Cobe in Nabinway, Michigan. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Terlep on March 13, 1981. Karen worked as an administrative assistant for Baraboo Sysco for over 19 years prior to her retirement in October of 2014. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed a healthy lifestyle and was a cooking enthusiast who worked-out regularly in the Sysco gym. Karen is survived by her husband, Robert Terlep; mother, Mary Cobe; sister, Shelly Martin; and brothers, John Cobe, Jr., Bob, Mike, Fred, Jim and Richard Cobe. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Cobe.A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00p.m. Noon on Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Baraboo Food Pantry. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
