Patricia Ann "Pat" Murwin
Patricia Ann "Pat" Murwin, age 74 of Baraboo passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Pat, daughter of Clifford "Dwight" and Catherine (Whittet) Long was born Nov. 30, 1940. She graduated from Edgerton High School with the class of 1959. On June 27, 1959 she was united in marriage to Oliver "Ollie" Murwin in Edgerton. She worked as a cook at Edgerton High School for many years. In her free time she enjoyed woodcraft carving, fishing, camping, traveling, stamping and gardening. She loved the Green Bay Packers and was proud of her Irish heritage. Survivors include, her husband, Ollie of Baraboo; children, Tony (Peggy) of Wonder Lake, Ill., Brian (Julie) of Waupaca, Todd (Katie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Tim (Linda) of DeForest; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy (Peter) Christianson of Janesville; brother, John (Betty) Long, of Janesville; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve; brothers, Jim, and Tom; and her sister, Peg.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family to be used in a memorial in Pat's name at a later date.
