Virginia M. Lenihan


Virginia M. Lenihan, age 100, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 25, 1915 to William and Rose (Hoadley) Blair in Evansville, Indiana, raised in Kansas City, MO and relocated to Baraboo; where she graduate from Baraboo High School. She married Francis D. Lenihan and they were blessed with one daughter, Mary Frances. She raised her daughter and then for a time worked at Industrial Coils, after retirement she helped at the Maple Hill Orchard for many years. She was a very hard worker and lived in and maintained her own home up until ten days ago. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Klingenmeyer of Baraboo; granddaughters, Cynthia Ann Colvin of Baraboo and Susan Marie (Kevin) Stich of Evans, GA two great-granddaughters, Stephanie Frances Colvin of Madison and Blair Elizabeth Stich of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son-in-law, Duane Klingenmeyer; and grandson-in-law, Dennis Colvin. As per her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service. Memorials may be made to the Sauk County Humane Society.The Family would like to thank Dr. Randy Krszjzaniek and the wonderful people from Agrace for their kind and compassionate care.
