Gary Douglas Markley, age 67 of Baraboo passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015 at home. Gary, son of Virgil and Marguerite (Ott) Markley was born July 5, 1948 in Baraboo. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his free time Gary enjoyed collecting toys, especially model cars as well as find deals at rummage sales. He was employed as a custodian at Coachlite Laundromat for over 25 years. Gary was a very social person and made many friends wherever he went.Gary is survived by his brothers, Ricky and Virgil; sisters, Janice Markley-Littlebear and Nancy Hinz; nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, Wendell, Ronald; and sister, Naomi.A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Oschner Park main pavilion from noon- 2 p.m. Military Rites will be conducted at the park at 2 p.m. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
