Donna Gray


Donna Gray, who lived in Baraboo for most of her adult life, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.Donna was born on March 19, 1933 to David and Evelyn Trevean near Chili, Wisconsin. Donna spent most of her childhood growing up in Wisconsin Rapids where she met her husband, Dick Gray. Donna and Dick were married on Sept. 23, 1950 and moved to Baraboo shortly thereafter.Donna worked at Flambeau for several years, as well as St. Mary's Manor as a nurse's aide. Donna also worked at Wal-Mart in Baraboo from its opening until 2000.Donna enjoyed raising her 3 kids and doing family events on the weekends and any other spare time she had. As her kids got older, Donna had so much fun with her grandkids and later with her great-grandchildren. She always wore the grandkids and great-grandkids picture buttons proudly on her vest at work. Donna also enjoyed doing crosswords, reading and the occasional Bingo game.Donna is survived by her 3 children, Kathy (Andrew) Martinka of Ontario, Wisconsin; Cindy (Cameron) Campbell of Superior, Wisconsin and Jeff (Carol) Gray of Burnsville, Minnesota; grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Campbell, Andrew Campbell, Laura, Julie and Eric Gray. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Grace, Alexis, Porter, Chace and Dawyson. She is further survived by 5 of her siblings and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; her parents, brothers Ken, Rex and Jim as well as a sister, Carolyn; in laws Richard and Lucille Gray and several brothers and sisters-in-law as well as other relatives and many friends.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
