Frances "Cookie" Setzke


Frances "Cookie" Setzke rejoined the love of her life, Louis Setzke, by following the staircase to heaven he built for them on Monday, February 22, 2016. She was born on December 17, 1941 to Lawrence "Stub" and Carol Lang. She lived in the Sauk Prairie area her entire life and made many local friends through her father's legacy, Lang's Restaurant. She will be missed for her giving heart of gold, witty sense of humor, and devotion to family and friends.Cookie was married to Lou on September 30, 1961. Together in their 54 years of marriage, they were active members of St. Joseph Parish in Baraboo. Cookie was most proud of the life and family she built with Lou: son Mark, his wife Diana and daughter Faith, daughter Holly, her husband Phil Marx, and their children Teyanna (Tyler) Loether and Nathan, and daughter Jennifer. She is survived by her only, favorite brother, Tom (Colleen) Lang and family.Visitation will be held at 9:00am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo. A mass service officiated by Father Jay Poster will follow at 11:00am. A private family burial will be held. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
