Gordon Herfort, age 79 of Baraboo, passed away on April 27, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 22, 1937 to Rodney and Janice Herfort in Baraboo. He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1955. He was employed at Circus City Printers as a printer until it closed. Gordon was then employed by the Baraboo School system as a custodian. He thoroughly enjoyed the kids, teachers and staff he worked with until he retired. Gordon loved nature and going for long rides which always ended at Devils Lake where he spent much of his childhood swimming and boating. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, uncle and aunt Vilas and Charlotte Flatow and great niece Mallory Henrikson. Gordon is survived by niece Melody Link, great nephew Kyle Henrikson, special friends Robert and Betty Bertram and Alice and Mike Staples. A private burial will take place at a later date.
