Tamla "Tami" Sue Fikar


Tamla (Tami) Sue Fikar, age 57 passed away peacefully on Saturday April 30th, 2016 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo after a defiant and courageous battle with Cancer. She was born February 15th 1959 in Baraboo to Allen and Avis Steele. She was a 1977 graduate of Wisconsin Dells High School. She was married to David Fikar January 5th, 2008 on a sandy, sunny beach in Florida. Tami truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, coloring pictures, and reading a multitude of books. Tami had an extraordinary ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Tami was caring person who nourished those around her with all her will and strength. Tami will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her determined disposition, sparkling personality, her patient temperament, her love for Charmed, mystifying vampires and going to BINGO, the beauty salon and garage sales with her mother Avis.She is survived by her parents, Allen and Avis, her husband, David, brother Richard (Pam) Steele, two sons Derick (fiancee, Sedy) Glaudell and Jacob Beardsley, three stepdaughters, Shawna, Sanya, and Desirae Fikar, two grandchildren, Katelyn and Ryan, niece, Jennifer (Justin) Severson, and nephew, Travis (friend, Chelsey) Steele, cousins and innumerable friends.Family, friends and others are invited to Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave in Baraboo from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, to reminisce, grieve and support each other. Ike Andrews will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. at P.O.
