Adeline M. Hinz

Adeline Maurine Hinz, 95, of Reedsburg passed away at Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born May 26, 1920 to William and Edith (Lyon) Schara. She was united in marriage to Garvin P. Hinz on February 14, 1939 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo. They farmed until they retired and moved to Rock Springs. In 2006 she went to live with her daughter Carol in Reedsburg, and for the last 2 years she resided at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center.She is survived by her three daughters, Carol (Richard) Costerisan, Ardith (Tim) Curtin, Audrey (Doug) Hill; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers, Lloyd (MaryAnn) Schara and William Jr. (Judy) Schara; two sisters-in-law, June and Grace Schara; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garvin; grandson, Michael Costerisan; sisters, Josephine Kopf and Leona Mueller; and brothers, Lawrence, Melvin, Virgil, and Dean Schara.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be donated in Adeline's name. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center for the special care they showed Adeline during her stay.
