Michael A. Sutton


Michael A. "Sudsy" Sutton, 61, of Baraboo passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1954 in the town of Baraboo.In his growing up years he played a lot of softball. He was a pitcher for many years and took the Shop Tavern to first place for many years. He enjoyed it so very much and got along with all his players, whom all called him "Sudsy". He also learned to weld by his father and had a business of his own at one time; people came from far and wide to get it done. Mike also worked for R & R Siding for many years as well as ABC Roofing. He was always the kind of person to help everyone out. He will be remembered for always being kind and considerate. Mike leaves behind his daughter, Megan Sutton; grandson, Cashton; siblings, Priscilla Helms, Lonita Schulze, Lonnie (June) Sutton, Jr., and Janice (Bob) Palmbos; brother-in-law, Ben Schepp; as well as good friends, Pat, Mike, Casey, Bill, Chris, Nannett, Duke and Johnny; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Sr. and Audrey Sutton; sister, Sondra Schepp and brother-in-law, Ray Helms. A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 3PM on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Continued gathering will take place at 4pm at the Walnut Street Tavern, formerly Bumps Tavern. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
