Lynn Zick


Lynn Kay Zick, age 59 of North Freedom/Denzer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at her home. Lynn, daughter of John and Catherine (Liddicoat) Bainbridge was born on March 26, 1957. She graduated from Baraboo High School, Class of 1975. She was united in marriage to Keith Olson in 1986; he preceded her in death in 2000. On Sept. 15, 2007 she was united in marriage to Keith Zick at First United Methodist Church in Baraboo. Lynn was employed by Sauk County for 22 years in county government service, most of which being for the Sauk County UW Extension Office. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. She was a creative soul who loved gardening, various craft projects and attending concerts and plays and watching the UW Marching Band. Lynn was a member of the Sauk County Homemakers and Sauk County Master Gardeners. She was strongly involved in the church community in Baraboo and Leland. In her free time she enjoyed tending to her gardens which provided endless amounts of fruit, vegetables and flowers.Survivors include her loving husband, Keith; children, Morgan (Megan) Olson, Whitney (partner, Jacob Holdt) Olson and Aaron (fiance, Bria Cross) Olson; step-son, Tim (Michele) Zick; granddaughter, Samantha Zick; brothers, Jim (Ruth) Slaughter and Bruce (Julie) Bainbridge as well as many other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith Olson; sons, Joshua Olson and Brady Olson; and step-daughter, Sarah Zick.Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leland with Pastor Erich Hartenberger officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will be held at Denzer Cemetery. A luncheon and fellowship will follow at the Honey Creek Town Hall.
