William J. Armstrong, age 90, passed away Jan. 27, 2017. His wife of 68 years, Charlene along with son, Bob and grandson's Brian and Scott at his side. Throughout life he taught his values of family, devoted faith, work ethic and love for the great outdoors. He was an expert pattern maker. Served in the US Navy during WWII. The family owned and ran South Shore Campground.He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Richard and Dennis; granddaughter, Amy; extended relatives, Sharon, Dick and Jean.He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene; sons, James (Mary Lou), Robert; daughter, Sandra (Mark); grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer and Scott; great-grandchildren, Alannah, Eliza, Alexis, Keegan and Damien as well as other relatives and friends.The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Clare Meadows and Dr. Deering for their care and compassion.Private services will be held. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
