Julianne Lynn Kieffer (Julie)


Julianne Lynn Kieffer (Julie) passed away in her sleep February 2, 2017 at home in Madison, Wisconsin. Julie was born on September 27, 1981 to Dan and Cathy Kieffer. She graduated from Baraboo High School in 2000 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At the time of her passing, she was employed at the Willy Street Pub & Grill and the Paradise Lounge where she enjoyed socializing with her patrons and developed many friendships. Julie was larger than life, cherished her family and friends, found joy in all situations, loved all sports, danced to all music genres, enjoyed travel and appreciated everything life had to give. She was a vibrant and caring soul, could light up a room with her beautiful smile and had a laugh that was contagious. Julie touched many people with her kindness and compassion, and with her welcoming personality could bring out the best in all. So many words have been used to describe Juliewitty, intelligent, fun, sweet, happy, adventurous. A special thank you to all Facebook friends who gave comfort with their tributes to Julie and sharing the heartbreak of this unexpected loss.Julie is survived by her loving parents, Dan and Cathy, grandmother, Dolores (Bill) Mossman, aunts and uncles: MaryAnne (John) Lochner, Bill (Sue) Kieffer, Bill Trant, John Trant, cousins: Tim (Crickett) Lochner, Scott Lochner, Troy (Tiffany Yizar) Lochner, Darcie (Mike) Holmstrom and their children Isla and Ian, Benjamin Kieffer (fiancee Tara Ellenwood), and Bill Trant, Jr. Julie will also be missed by many other extended family members, numerous friends, and her beloved dog, Calvin.Julie was preceded in death by her brother Justin whom she loved and missed dearly, her grandparents, Katherine and William Trant, and grandfather, William B. Kieffer, Jr. She was a shining star that will glow in everyone's heart forever. Julie's life is best remembered as she lived it by following one of her favorite quotes: Life's too short not to have fun. You've got to live life to its fullest.
