Agnes "Aggie" Woodbury

Agnes "Aggie" Woodbury of Baraboo was born on April 26, 1938; and after a two and a half year courageous battle with cancer passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on May 9, 2017 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo at the age of 79. She was married to Harry Woodbury on February 4, 1967. The two of them ran several successful businesses together, and Agnes fulfilled her dream of running her own clothing store, the Star Boutique, for several years in Baraboo. Many close and lasting friendships were made during their years of owning their motel, and in Agnes' years of working in accounts payable at Baraboo Sysco Foods, Medical Associates and RR Donnelley and her years of Tuesday Morning bowling.Agnes enjoyed reading, spending time watching the birds and wildlife while sitting on the deck and Saturday game night with her friends where they would spend hours laughing. However, her most enjoyment came from spending time with her family enjoying the holidays, cookouts or any time they could get together; and her Sunday phone calls from her son Todd.Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Harry Woodbury; her children and grandchildren; Todd and Doris Woodbury of Killeen, Texas; Brian and Jody Woodbury (Brook and Ben); Vickie Carrow (Damion and Jenny); and Linda and John Kuball (Nick) all of Baraboo; 7 great grandchildren and numerous friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Stevens, Dr. Weber and the entire staff of the Baraboo Oncology Department for their compassion during her many visits and treatments; the staff at the St. Clare Hospice House for making her final days comfortable; and Dennis and Linda Laufenburg, who we consider to be family as well as friends, for all their help and support. We would also like to thank all of her friends for their cards, phone calls and visits; she said she never knew there were so many people who loved her.Visitation for Agnes will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 15, 2017 at the Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Clare Hospice House would be appreciated. At any time you see a cardinal, smile and know that I am with you!
