Eilene Arlene A. Boyd

Eilene "Arlene" A. Boyd, age 86 of Baraboo passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at Our House Assisted Living. Arlene, daughter of Bert and Elizabeth (Falk) Collins was born Feb. 17, 1931. She was united in marriage to Earl "Polly" Boyd on Oct. 25, 1948 in Baraboo; he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1995. Together with her husband, Arlene operated the Transport Gas Station for 14 years and then went on to work for the meat market for many years. Survivors include two sons, Peter (Nobuko) Boyd of Collinsville, IL, Michael Boyd of Denzer; two daughters, Jan McClure of Baraboo and Kris (Greg) Hammermeister of Baraboo; daughter-in-law, Mary Boyd of Baraboo; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Orville, Pat, Dean and Gary Collins; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Boyd; and 5 brothers. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
