Mildred "Mickey" M. Clingerman, of Baraboo, died at Sauk Prairie Hospital on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the age of 88. Mickey is survived by her daughter-in-law, Trish Vandre, granddaughter, Nicole (Jason) Campbell, Grandson, Clinton L. (Katrina) Clingerman, and six great-grandchildren, Alan, Noah, and Victoria Campbell and Elijah, Marcella and Lyla Clingerman. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Marsha Sanders; grandsons, Jonathan and Alex Stolte; sister, Winnie Stancyk; brother, Russell Herman and dear friends, Rodney Blum, Linda and Vern Driese, Jim Pritzkow, Angie Vodak and honorary granddaughter, Hannah Decot. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clinton E. Clingerman; and her son, Clinton R. Clingerman. Mickey was united in marriage to Clinton E. Clingerman on December 9, 1950 after a nine-month, whirlwind romance that began with a blind double date to see a baseball game at Wrigley Field in Chicago IL. The game was rained out so they went to the Chicago Theatre to see Cecil B. DeMille's "Samson and Delilah" starring Hedy LaMarr and Victor Mature. Mickey enjoyed traveling the U.S. by RV with her husband their dear sister and brother-in-law, Winnie and Frank Stanczyk. Clint and Mickey also enjoyed many years of following and dancing to their son's popular band, "Lightning Ridge". There will be no formal family visitation.
